Plot

Trapped on a farm in rural Georgia, a group of neighbors must put aside their differences and unite in the face of a mysterious and deadly threat.. Adapted from the book Stinger (1988) by Robert McCammon.. Referenced in Korman Productions Deep Dive TV Podcast: Teacup on Peacock Deep Dive: S1 E1/2 "Think About the Bubbles"/"My Little Lighthouse" (2024). This series could have been fantastic with better writing. The beginning was more confusing than scary. The guys were too beta and weak. There were too many boring relationship conversations. These conversations didn’t make me care about the characters, but bored me to tears. Arlo, the old man and the old lady are the only interesting authentically written characters. None of the characters used facial expressions that would add any eeriness. The characters made unrealistic decisions like not even wearing simple cloth masks. The kid is an excellent actor. He’s the only reason I was able to watch this.
